It's me or my baby. One of us must die.
Pregnancy is supposed to be a young mother's happiest moment. And I am, except that the leader of the community only allows 200 people in our group to live at a time. My baby will make 201.
I have two choices, choose someone in our home to die, or they'll make that choice for me.
The community is supposed to be our shelter from the aftermath of World War III, but it's anything but.
I've survived this long, me and the love of my life. I must move on, I must survive for us, for our baby.
If you're looking for a great dystopia romance, this book is for you.

Absolutely Brilliant. The story was everything I hoped it would end up being. The story-line was not predictable by any means, I just had some reservations about reading it. Would it be like other Apocalyptic books? Would "God" save the world? Would there be too much religious overtones in it or a "message?" No, No, and No. It is just a beautiful story about a girl at the end of the world. I have read all three in the series, and am pleased beyond words with how well the Author created a world that is real, characters that pull you in, and an ending that ties it all together. Great Read. I am a new fan of B.R. Paulson! This is the same review I left for the other two in the Trilogy... I will just add that I cried, laughed, bit my nails, and read all three books in roughly 8 hours (bought Friday around noonish and finished Saturday evening, not read in a continuous time frame). That speaks volumes as I just don't find many books that get me that invested!!Product details

Exchange Rate Worth of Souls Book 2 (Audible Audio Edition) Bonnie R Paulson Sarah J Taylor CaptivaPublishing Books Reviews
I enjoyed this book. It caused me to think about what I would tolerate for saftey and what you would pretend not to see. This book moved quickly and I could not wait to start the third book.
This book is crazy and really makes you look at your life and see what you think your worth. What you are willing to do for those you love and what those who truly love you are willing to sacrifice. I can't say enough about this book. It is an amazing read.
This is the second book in Bonnie R Paulson's Dystopian Romance Trilogy. I am loved the first one and this one almost killed me emotionally with all the ups and arounds and downs and ups again--but I read it in one sitting.
I absolutely loved this second book in the series. Our heroine is strong, and smart, but vulnerable; very believable. This story is sad in that, you wish humans would treat each other with respect instead of as commodities to be bought, sold, or traded. It also gives you hope that there are enough "good ones" left after a disaster to rebuild all that humanity has lost. .
I read all 3 of these books back to back. This was a very enjoyable read. Very fast paced. Many, many times I wanted to yell. it was a edge of your seat read. I couldn't put it down. I did find the main character a bit, whinny at times. which took me for a loop. She was raised to be a prepper so to speak. There were some editing issues that made me go back and reread a few times. So if editing is a problem then don't read just to leave a mean review. Other then that this book is a good story for 14 and up.
More bad decisions by the main characters. They don't know anything about surviving on their own and are starving by the time they find a compound type place to stay. They don't even seem to notice that every time someone new comes, someone else disappears. The leader of the compound makes horrible decisions as well, which lead to his demise and that of the compound. And why would this guy obsess over her when she clearly shows disgust at him? Other than that, I liked it. I will be reading the next one.
WTG B R Paulson!!! I will start by saying that this series has to be read in order - otherwise, it will not make sense!!! Please make sure to read Cost of Survival before you read Exchange Rate.
Exchange Rate starts right where Cost of Survival left off. Since Kelly's Mom died, she met up with Bodey and his father John. They were looking for John's wife and daughter and took Kelly under their protection. They never stayed any place very long -- especially with Charlie trying to find Kelly. I don't write spoilers -- so you really need to read this for yourself to find out what happens!!!
Believe me -- you will NOT be disappointed with the outcome!!!
